Welcome!

In the midst of difficult times and challenges, we find opportunity. I believe that the moments we are pushed out of our comfort zone allow for personal growth and healing. I pull from several different approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I find that this creates a unique counseling experience for each client and provides a collaborative environment to explore.

One of my passions is helping teens and the family system navigate through this critical stage of development. I particularly enjoy working with teens that are resistant to change, exhibit high-risk behaviors, and/or have been to treatment. I also enjoy working with consensual non-monogamous couples and groups, practicing attorneys, and teen parents. My specialties also include working with adults struggling with relationship issues or substance abuse.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the State of Texas. I currently hold a Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling, with a specialty in childhood and adolescent disorders. Finding a therapist that feels right for you can be an overwhelming process. I would be honored to help!
